Ms. Dougherty is a Certified Municipal Clerk as designated by the International Association of Municipal Clerks. She is a member
of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, Florida Association of City Clerks, and is past secretary of Sanford Main
Street. Ms. Dougherty has been the City Clerk since 1989.
Mission Statement
To provide effective and efficient administrative support to the City Commission in accordance with Statutes, Charter,
Code and City Commission directives. To provide information to the public, and to process public requests in a fair,
impartial and efficient manner.
